Episcopal Response To AIDS
"Walk in love as Christ loved us" Ephesians 5:2 AIDS Walk New York will be held in
Central Park in Manhattan this year on May 19th. ERA (Episcopal Response to Aids), the coalition team made up of Episcopalians
throughout the metropolitan area, is a Gold Team (one of the top 20 fund-raisers). For many years, Episcopal parishes around
the New York City area have been forming their individual teams and walking the 6 mile route to remember loved ones lost to
AIDS and to raise money and awareness for HIV and AIDS research and care. But with ERA, the only faith-based coalition team,
your parish must contribute only one walker or one penny to be credited both as a participating congregation and as part of
the area-wide Episcopal/Anglican team, witnessing in unity to the depth of our church's commitment to struggle against
this pandemic. Visit Link: Episcopal Response To AIDS
