I am a child of God, a native New Yorker, a cradle Episcopalian, and a member of St. John’s for almost 60 years. At home I am a mother of 4, a grandmother of 3 and a great-grandmother of 3. After 27 years at the Board of Education I retired from teaching – classroom, Librarian and Reading teacher.
At St. John’s I have been active in many ministries – Altar Guild, ECW, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Treasurer, Vestry, Outreach etc. On the Diocesan level, I serve on the Altar Guild Board and on the ECW Board and have been a member of the Secretariat, the governing board of LI Cursillo.
My greatest desire is to be of service to St. John’s. Whatever I am asked to do, I do to the best of my ability. God teaches us that we are never too old to serve and that He will equip us to do whatever He bids us to do.
