Part-time Sexton/Facilities Manager for

St. John’s Episcopal Church, Springfield Gardens, NY

 

 

Job Description

 

• Open church for Sunday service(s).

• Set up parish hall for coffee hour and other events.

• Clean and maintain parish hall including kitchen and bathrooms, worship space and sacristy.

 

• Organize trash for sanitation pick up and ensures neatness of outside garbage area.

 

• Available for set-up and clean up for events, funerals, special services.

 

• Oversee and maintain grounds/facilities: church and rectory.

• Conduct monthly inventory of cleaning/maintenance supplies and inform of needed supply orders.

 

• Perform other maintenance duties as needed.

 

• Notify, report, coordinate with Clergy and Property Ministry Team of any needed issues/concerns.
