Yvette Venola Tonge was born in the twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda. She was an active member of St. Boniface Anglican Church where she was a member of the mother’s union. She migrated to the United States and became an active member of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, New York. There she served as an usher and vice president of the grandmother’s group. Upon moving to Queens, New York she transferred her membership to St. John’s Episcopal Church where she now worships. Yvette also serves on our usher guild and she also serves as co-chair for Pastoral Area Group (PAG) 3.
